On March 17, the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard met with the students and lecturers of American University of Armenia, who were in the National Assembly with cognitive visit. The meeting was held in Q & A session: during the talk Eduard Sharmazanov answered the numerous questions concerning the students, which related to the inner and external political processes of our country and the regional problems.

The NA Deputy Speaker answered the question referring to Artsakh international recognition. “Our goal is the international recognition of independence of Artsakh Republic. Artsakh can never be part of Azerbaijan: the independence of Artsakh has no alternative, and the RA authorities will do their utmost for the solution of pro-Armenian of Artsakh issue. As a responsible force we find that problem will not be solved by war: the problem should be solved exclusively through peaceful settlement,” the NA Deputy Speaker underlined.

Mr Sharmazanov also touched upon the issue regarding the combativeness of the armed forces, stressing that the security is one of the key issues for our country, and the state does all the best to further rise and strengthen the existing level. “Today, the frontline of Artsakh is completely supplied with technical means, which raises the level of the frontline security.”
